ROCORI Baseball Hosts Another Successful Camp In 2022
The ROCORI Baseball team hosted their annual baseball camp for all players grades 3rd-8th on Saturday, March 19 at the ROCORI High School and ROCORI Middle School gyms. For a program that has carried a tradition of excellence for several years, a direct reason for that success has been due to the commitment to helping Spartans at a young age.
On March 19, young ROCORI baseball players showed their desire and commitment to continuing the carry on that tradition of excellence during the baseball camp, with over 75 participants taking part in the camp.
During the one-day camp, players were taught key ingredients to helping them grow and become “Championship” baseball players. The sessions over the course of the day focused on the fundamentals of throwing, pitching, hitting, catching and fielding, as well as proper stretching techniques and arm care, specific strength and conditioning exercises, and more.
The instructors of the camp consisted of current and former coaches of the ROCORI baseball program, along with current and former ROCORI baseball players and alumni. Players who took part in the camp received a camp t-shirt, notes and more.
Thank you to everyone who helped and attended the camp to make it successful once again this year!
