ROCORI Baseball's Annual Camp A Huge Success In 2019
Near the end of the month of March, the ROCORI Spartans Baseball hosted their annual baseball camp, a day-long event held at ROCORI High School.
On March 23, Spartans players, coaches and others put on the annual camp for future ROCORI Baseball players 3rd through 8th grades, helping teach key ingredients towards helping them become championship baseball players.
Overall, the Spartans and the program's annual camp resulted in a huge success.
The camp – which focused on base running, throwing fundamentals, fielding mechanics, hitting, arm care, safety and more, while also featuring sessions focused on pitching and catching – saw over 110 kids attend the event.
The instructors of the camp consisted of current and former coaches of the ROCORI Baseball program, along with current and former ROCORI players and alumni. While learning various fundamentals, the kids who attended the camp received camp t-shirts and notes, while also being able to earn prizes throughout the day.
