Tebrake Lifts Rocori Over Alexandria
COLD SPRING -- Dylan Tebrake did a little bit of everything for the Rocori Spartans baseball team on Tuesday night at the Cold Spring Baseball Park.
The junior earned the win on the mound and led the way for Rocori at the plate en route to lifting the Spartans to a 6-1 win over Alexandria.
Tebrake earned the victory for the Spartans, pitching 6 1/3 innings. He gave up two hits, one run, two walks and struck out seven.
Tebrake also went perfect at the plate to lead the Rocori offense. He finished 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
Jordan Barth went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI, Mason Primus drove in one run and William Huls, Nick Penick and Dalton Thelen each added a hit for the Spartans.
Alexandria was held to just two hits in the game, one recorded by Reed Larson and the other by Thomas Anderson.
Hunter Schoenrock took the loss on the mound, pitching the first five innings for the Cardinals. He gave up seven hits, five runs (two earned), no walks and struck out two.
With the win, Rocori improves to 3-4 in the CLC and 3-4 overall on the season.
Next up for the Spartans is a conference showdown with St. Cloud Tech at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at the Cold Spring Baseball Park.
