In a back-and-forth battle to open up the Class 3A State Tournament, No. 8 ROCORI fell to No. 1 Totino-Grace 5-3 on June 11, ending the Spartans' pursuit of a state title.

ROCORI finished the Section 8-3A tournament unbeaten on June 4, defeating Willmar 4-1 in the championship to return to the Class 3A State Tournament.

ROCORI's offense showed up and pitching shut the opposition down on June 2 en route to taking down Fergus Falls 12-2 in five innings to advance to the Section 8-3A Championship.
